I recently used The Nauti Dawg for a burial at sea to spread my brother’s ashes, and the experience was exactly what I was looking for: low-key, professional, and deeply respectful.

I met Captain Bob and his mate, Kenny, at their dock at Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant, NJ. From the very beginning, both of them were incredibly helpful and compassionate. They took me three miles out past the Manasquan Inlet, ensuring all legal requirements were fully met while keeping the journey smooth and comfortable.

Kenny guided me gently through the entire process at the release site. He even provided flower petals to intermingle with the ashes as they were released from the back of the boat, which was a beautiful and thoughtful touch. They also provide 2 copies of a Certificate of Ash Scattering certifying that the ashes were released in accordance with the laws of the State of NJ.

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but Captain Bob and Kenny made this difficult day a seamless and comforting memory. Thank you both for your exceptional service and kindness. I highly recommend The Nauti Dawg to anyone looking for a respectful and private ash-scattering service.

My dad is so nice, and he tries to make people have the best time ever while fishing.

Had a group of 4 out for a 6 hour trip. Heard good things about the boat and captain but 1st trip out. We were all reeling in fish all day. Weather and fishing was excellent. The captain and mate were great

Novice fisherman at best but The Capt had us on the fish and Kenny on deck helped us all keep hooking fish after fish! Better trip than I expected. We will be back

Capt Bob and Kenny were so easy to deal with. They were very comforting during a tough time for my family. Would highly recommend to anyone in the are looking to do the same
